TENEO VERTEX competition drift tires. Built to grip, built to repeat.
Built to grip.
Made to burn.
We've been selling drift tires since 2018. We've run most of what's out there, and we listened to what drivers kept complaining about. VERTEX is what we built instead.
The grip
Grip that holds its shape when you're destroying it
A drift tire has the strangest job in motorsport. You're deliberately breaking traction, and you still need to know exactly what happens when you do. Grip that arrives suddenly is useless. Grip that leaves suddenly is worse.
VERTEX 200 runs a soft competition compound over a two-steel-belt casing, so the contact patch stays put under load instead of squirming. It comes on progressively, holds through the angle, and lets go in a way you can feel coming.
Then there's the bill
30–40
tires in a competition weekend
You're not buying a set of tires. You're running a supply. So the number that matters isn't what a tire costs.. it's what a weekend costs, and whether you can actually get them on the Thursday before an event.
Run the 300 on practice days, save the 200 for competition, and a weekend costs noticeably less without your competition pace changing at all.
The part nobody else will put in writing
Built to grip.
Built to repeat.
Anyone can build one good tire. The hard part is building the fortieth one exactly like the first.. and you'll notice long before we do if it isn't.
So every set ships with a card carrying that batch's measured figures against the published ones, with the deviation and the tolerance. Not a certificate. A receipt.
Where a value falls outside tolerance, the batch doesn't ship.
Variable pitch, so the tread doesn't sing at one frequency and doesn't wear at one point.
First look
This is what it says on your tire
Not a render, not a mock-up. Every line below is the wording that gets moulded into the sidewall.. the marks, the designation, the ply package, the regulatory lines. We're showing you the tire before you can buy it, because there's nothing on it we'd rather you didn't read.
The tread band around the outside runs the real block order. The centre is the compound code.. yellow for competition, so you can tell them apart across a paddock.
Two compounds. Use both.
Most of the rubber you burn in a season isn't burned in competition. So we built a tire for each job instead of one that's adequate at both.
The one you burn on practice days.

Longer-wearing, wider working temperature, more forgiving when the surface is cold. Series-specific.. check your rulebook before you run it.
Full specificationThe one you save for the run that counts.
265/35ZR18
97W · Rear · Treadwear 200 · Shore A 63
Softer compound, narrower temperature window, shorter life. More grip once it is up to temperature, and less patience with you before it gets there.

We sold everyone else's first
Since 2018 we've supplied drift tires, run them, and heard the same complaints back from the same drivers. Batches that didn't match. Stock that wasn't there the week it was needed. Spec sheets that said nothing you could check.
We stopped waiting for someone to fix it. VERTEX comes direct from the factory to you.. no importer, no distributor markup, no layer in between deciding what you're allowed to know about your own tires.
01
Since 2018
Supplying and running drift tires, not launching a brand from a spreadsheet.
02
Tested the market
We've run most of what's out there. VERTEX was specified against it, not in a vacuum.
03
Drivers asked
The brief came from the same complaints, repeated for years, by people who buy forty at a time.
04
Direct from the factory
One less layer means a better price and a straight answer about what's in the tire.
First batch
Get in before it opens
VERTEX launches on Kickstarter. The waitlist gets the link before anyone else, founder pricing on the first production run, and a serial number on the batch card.

Samples are in production now. The tire runs a full test day on 10 October 2026 with real drivers and real tandem, and the campaign opens once it's been tested and the figures on this site are verified rather than estimated. Two emails: when it opens, and if the date moves.
